Alex D Luta


Alex is an M.D. candidate at the Georgetown University School of Medicine. He graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in Government from Georgetown in 2016. Alex is the former CEO of Innovo Consulting, a student-run consulting group for startups and nonprofits, and the founder & former Executive Director of SATCOHR (Students Applying Technology and Coding for Human Rights). Alex has received numerous awards and honors, such as First Place in the Inaugural AAAS Science and Human Rights Student Poster Competition, the Lisa J. Raines Fellowship, and the Telluride Academy for Emerging Leaders in Patient Safety Scholarship. His team won the Grand Prize for Rare & Orphan Diseases at MIT Hacking Medicine’s DC Grand Hack 2019. Alex is interested in health policy and medical innovation, and he plans to pursue a residency in internal medicine.
